As a regional leader in program management services for renovation, construction and development programs, we provide a range of services including planning, estimating, coordination, scheduling, cost control, construction management and commissioning.

Our customers include a wide range of customers including educational facilities, hospitals/nursing homes, government/industrial/commercial buildings, and multi-housing projects.

1922 :: Charles Foster starts Engineering Firm in Duluth, MN
1940 :: Phil Johnson and Howard Jacobs join the firm
1959 :: Phil Johnson and Howard Jacobs become partners and incorporate the firm under the present name Foster, Jacobs & Johnson, Inc.
1968 :: Charles Foster worked up until his death at age 98
1981 :: Phil Johnson retires
1990 :: Howard Jacobs retires
1990 :: Jim Johnson and Chip Jacobs become partners
2014 :: Jim Johnson steps down from partnership
2014 :: Arif Quraishi, Jeff Schiltz and Dave Bergeron become partners
